Video Shows 20-Year-Old Shot Outside of NYC Bodega at Point-Blank Range

A 20-year-old man, identified as Perriot Simeon, was shot and killed at point-blank range outside of a bodega around the corner from his home in East Flatbush, Brooklyn on Wednesday (July 14) afternoon.

The incident was caught on surveillance, which shows another young man standing outside of the bodega, and then aiming a gun at point-blank range and firing at Simeon, who was on a CitiBike at the time he was shot. Police were notified about the shooting around 2:20 pm, and they responded to the scene to find Simeon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. He was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The surveillance footage was released to the public amid an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made.
