Representatives from the Sanger Police Department recently encountered an unidentified man at a park in Sanger, California, who had been severely burned by a woman after being doused in gasoline around 8:30 pm. The assailant, a 48-year-old woman, named Patricia Castillo, reportedly walked over to the victim while he was resting on the grass and proceeded to do her dirty deed after a brief verbal spat between the two. Little did Castillo know that her act was being filmed by the community’s surveillance system from afar. Therefore, she was arrested along with Leonard Hawkins, the 43-year-old man who allegedly gave her the gasoline in the first place. Shortly after the violent occurrence took place, the pair were arrested for their transgressions. Castillo and Hawkins are currently being housed at the Fresno County Jail. They have both been charged with conspiracy, arson, and attempted murder.
The victim is expected to fully recover from the severe burns he sustained.
