Frazier took the stand, stating, “When I look at George Floyd, I look at my dad, I look at my brothers, I look at my cousins, my uncles. Frazier stated that she has stayed up at night “apologizing and apologizing to George Floyd for not doing more and not physically interacting and not saving his life.” Frazier then added, “It’s not what I should have done. It’s what he (Chauvin) should have done.”
Frazier added that she had lived in the neighborhood for over five years, and on Memorial Day last year, she walked to nearby Cup Foods when she saw “a man terrified, scared, begging for his life.” Frazier was with her 9-year-old cousin that day, and the child also testified in court, as she witnessed most of the incident involving Floyd and Chauvin.
