Investigation documents obtained from Los Angeles Animal Services detail the vicious attack on a housekeeper at Chris Brown’s house on December 12, 2020. Brown was not listed as the registered owner of the dog, but he appears to have been aware the dog was being kept at his home.
According to the documents, a large Caucasian Shepherd kept on Brown’s property attacked a housekeeper, biting her in the face as she emptied a vacuum canister outside. The housekeeper told investigators that the dogs are usually put away before she arrives at the home, so on this day, she believed that this was true and was unaware that the dog was loose outside. The housekeeper stated that when the dog bit her in the face, she put up her arm to shield her face, and the dog continued attacking her. She was left with several inches of flesh missing from her arm.
A lawsuit was recently filed in Los Angeles Superior Court over the attack, as the injured woman had two surgeries due to the injuries sustained in the attack. Since the incident, the woman has suffered severe emotional distress, including post-traumatic stress disorder, severe anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. The lawsuit states that she “is reluctant to leave her home and cannot stop reliving the pain that she experienced as she watched her sister suffer through that horrendous attack that day.” She is seeking unspecified monetary damages related to the incident, citing loss of wages due to being unable to work, medical bills, emotional distress, and pain and suffering.
