But when reports surfaced that there was a new video game that was inspired by the Rittenhouse shootings called “Acquitted,” it once again pitted people on the left side of politics against people on the right side of policies, globally. Now, Rittenhouse finds himself in yet another moral battle after an incident that saw him fatally shoot two men back on August 25, 2020.

“Acquitted: Self-Defense vs The Brain Dead” is an action-shooting game, in which the antagonist (a young man that looks just like Kyle Rittenhouse) goes around shooting zombies dressed as protesters. The video game was developed by a Swedish company called Nordic Empire Games and it has caused quite an uproar in the gaming community this month as several Twitter users have used their platform to voice their displeasure with the notion that Rittenhouse is now being heralded as a hero in the virtual space as well.
