The 45-year-old was arrested in 2019 after sneaking into his neighbor’s apartment and molesting her as she slept. Lublin was also charged with groping his neighbor’s roommate a week earlier while she slept. He also stole the roommates’ panties during the assaults.
Lublin’s first victim was a receptionist at AEG during the sex offender’s time as a vice president of the company. The employee, who was 22 at the time of the assault, said the incident occurred in 2015 after she crashed at his apartment. The first victim didn’t report the incident due to Lublin’s position at the company, but decided to come forward after learning about his arrest.
A fourth victim recalled meeting Lublin at a Fashion Week party before testifying before a grand jury and seeing videos of herself being molested by the former executive while she was unconscious. Lublin claimed he was inebriated during the assaults and apologized to the victims in court.
While Lublin’s lawyer was satisfied with the case’s outcome, the victims criticized Lublin’s sentence and argued his prison term was not enough. Prosecutors originally requested a 10-year sentence.
“Honestly, I don’t think four years is nearly enough,” said one of Lublin’s victims. “I don’t think that’s fair. I think you could have done better.”
For almost 10 years, Lublin was vice president of talent at AEG before working for First Access Entertainment in 2017.
Once released, Lublin will spend five years in post-release supervision and be required to register as a sex offender. He’s also forbidden from having any contact with his victims through 2033.
