Mexican Cartel Releases Video of Rival Members Lined Up Before Execution

A Mexican drug cartel released video footage earlier this week of 20 rival members lined up prior to their execution.

Members of Los Tlacos shared the video of them lining up nearly two-dozen alleged members of La Bandera, which is a part of the Guerreros Unidos cartel. A man is heard narrating in Spanish throughout the above clip and hints at the rival cartel trying to operate in their territory.

“People from Iguala, here are all those who extorted money and who were killing innocent people and women,” the narrator reportedly said. “The garbage that terrorized this beautiful city. We told them and the time came. This plaza already has an owner.”

Wednesday’s video is said to be another glimpse into the rising violence in the state of Guerrero. During the video, a masked and armed man is seen intimidating and grabbing the cuffed men during an interrogation.

The video’s narrator reportedly accused the city of Iguala’s incoming mayor of being affiliated with Guerreros Unidos. About four hours before the video was posted, Los TIacos allegedly left four dead bodies in front of the mayor’s home. The bodies of the other 16 men are yet to be discovered.
