FL Man Accused of Trying to Smuggle Drugs into Jail Using Prosthetic Leg

According to reports, a Florida man is accused of trying to smuggle drugs into Pinellas County jail on Saturday, using his prosthetic leg.

Keith Adams, 37, was caught trying to sneak a gram of fentanyl and several Xanax pills inside his artificial limb. Adams was arrested for allegedly possessing cocaine and resisting arrest earlier in the night. During that initial interaction with law enforcement, Adams was asked by authorities whether he was concealing anything in the prosthetic leg just before being transported.

He now faces three felony charges and one misdemeanor count.
