Statement from DJ Vlad:

“I’ve known Kay Slay for 20 years, meeting him shortly after I moved to New York in 2002.  He was someone I always looked up to as a Mixtape DJ and stand-up individual with morals that you rarely see in this world.  He had a pure and undying love of Hip Hop which is very rare in this business.  He never wavered from who he was or what he represented.  The fearlessness he exhibited as “The Drama King” was a major inspiration to me, and it still is. He will be missed worldwide.”
