“Dancing with the Stars” to Feature Same-Sex Partners for First Time

The long-running competition show “Dancing with the Stars” is making history by featuring a same-sex couple for the first time.

It was announced that social media personality JoJo Siwa, who recently came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, will be paired with a female dancer. Olympic gold medal gymnast Suni Lee will also be competing on the show, but the other contestants have yet to be revealed.

Siwa commented on being paired with a female, stating, “I think it’s cool, I think it breaks a wall that’s never been done before. I think it’s really special that I get to share with the world that you can love who you love, but now you can dance with who you want to dance with.”
