A traffic stop in Houston led Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies to discover a cache of drugs, guns, and cash that cost more than the supercar they pulled over.
At the request of Texas’ Department of Public Safety, sheriff’s deputies pulled over the driver of a Lamborghini Huracan. Law enforcement discovered that a large number of drugs, weapons, and cash were able to be placed inside of the sportscar.
During the traffic stop, the authorities seized more than 100 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, and cocaine. In addition, several firearms and $230,737 in cash were confiscated as a result of the traffic stop.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Major, Susan Cotter, also announced on Twitter that the Lamborghini was stolen and that two suspects have been arrested. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Public Safety have to decline to comment further on the arrest and seizure as the investigation remains ongoing.
