Brazilian Soccer Star Reveals He’s Having a Child with His Ex-Wife’s Niece

Brazilian soccer star Givanildo Vieira de Sousa revealed this past weekend that he’s expecting a child with a woman who will be the newborn’s mother and cousin.

The 35-year-old athlete, known simply as Hulk, shared the news with his 32-year-old wife Camila Sousa. Hulk’s child will be his fourth as he shares three children with Camila’s aunt, 33-year-old Iran Angelo.

“Today with a heart full of gratitude to GOD, I come to share with you that for the fourth time I am being blessed with another child,” wrote the striker in Portuguese. “My heart overflows with so much happiness and I can only say thank you GOD. We are already looking forward to receiving you, child, we love you unconditionally. Come full of health my baby.”

In 2019, Hulk announced he and Iran were divorcing after 12 years of marriage. Months later, he went public with his new relationship with his ex-wife’s niece. However, Hulk claimed he and Camila did not become romantically involved until after his marriage ended despite acknowledging he was unfaithful throughout his relationship with Iran.

He also rejected his ex-wife’s claim that his relationship with Camila caused their split. In a previous statement, Hulk added that he only married Iran because she became pregnant and that his ex-wife only dated him for status.

“[We] started dating and in less than a month you got pregnant,” Hulk claimed. “My marriage didn’t come about for love, passion, nothing, it was an accident of you getting pregnant with Ian. And I took it. From the moment I started dating you, I started supporting you and your entire family. Camila was never the pivot of separation. I never had a relationship with Camila when I was married. I’m a man. I wasn’t happy in my marriage. I had many reasons. I spent my entire marriage betraying Iran, I lived a single life. She knew very well and just wanted to have the status of wife of the Hulk.”
