>Wendy Williams supported NBA YoungBoy’s arrest during a recent episode of The Wendy Williams Show. While reporting on the rapper’s arrest, Wendy criticized the rapper for “bringing down the property value” of the neighborhood he was arrested in and highlighted YoungBoy being the father to seven children.
“He’s got to go to jail,” Williams said. “How do you do a hot pursuit? There are innocent people out here. You could have hurt innocent people in your hot pursuit and running through people’s backyards. Nobody wants that — bringing down the property value. And how is it that you do what you do with seven kids and only 21-years-old? And I wonder what Yaya Mayweather’s father Floyd [Mayweather] is saying about this.”
NBA YoungBoy’s mother, Sherhonda Gaulden, responded to Wendy’s remarks on her Instagram Story by writing, “F*** Wendy Williams around here letting a half dead 90 year old white man suck her d*** worried about my child stop tagging me in bull****.”
Boosie also reacted to Wendy’s comments by calling out her past drug use on Twitter.
“Stop it Wendy Williams You Did A Hot 21 Kilos Of Coke Before Your 21st Bday All The Way Till Your Amazing Tumble,” Boosie wrote.
NBA YoungBoy was arrested in Los Angeles earlier this week after a brief high-speed pursuit. The rapper’s attorney later revealed that the federal arrest warrant was for Felon in Possession of a Firearm — a charge that stems from a September incident in which NBA YoungBoy and 15 others were arrested on drug and firearm charges while making a music video.
