Arizona Woman Charged in $1.5M Fentanyl Drug Bust

According to reports, a Phoenix woman is facing multiple charges after police discovered 50,000 pills laced with suspected fentanyl inside her car during a traffic stop.

Gesel Edith Diaz Acosta, 21, agreed to allow police to search her vehicle after being pulled over. Authorities found the pills hidden inside a lunch box which hold a street value of $1.5 million.

The 21-year-old was arrested on charges of transportation of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
