Investigators on the scene noted the warehouse that was being used as the “drug superstore” was between 12,000 to 15,000 square feet. It was noted that vendors set up tables in the warehouse to sell various illegal substances.
Police are currently determining which people caught up in the bust are customers as opposed to vendors and organizers at the space. South Fulton Police Chief Keith Meadow spoke on the matter, saying, “It really is a bold step to take this sort of a warehouse and then turn it into a drug operation. Certainly unusual from our standpoint. As you can see from the number of individuals we have detained behind us, it was well patronized.” Stay tuned for more updates.
